The Anointing of the Sick is a sacrament of comfort, strength, and healing for anyone facing illness, surgery, the frailty of age, or the nearness of death.
Through prayer and anointing with holy oil, we ask God for healing of body, mind, and spirit, and we surround the one who is suffering with the love and prayers of the whole community. This sacrament can be received more than once, whenever serious illness or hardship returns.
